So here is the ride in moab utah with Chris Durham and Walker Evans. The trail is full of rocks and boulders, and will find any weakness in your trucks set up. Notice the driving. They make it look easy, but many of the obstacles are very unforgiving when a mistake is made. Either body damage and serious time in the body shop, or mechanical failure due to the nature of the rocks. Unlike South Carolina the traction in the desert of Moab is no problem. This also can present a problem when wheels stop suddenly, causing the stopping force of the wheel to break and twist things up. My point is, these guys have experience and this trail is dangerous unless you 1.) know what you are doing, and 2.) have a group of well prepared drivers and trucks. Make no mistake it is a long walk from here to anywhere.  I hope you enjoy it. Comments appreciated.

The New Ride For Moab, Utah 2012

Well it is that time again. Chris Durham Motorsports is well on the way to Moab, Utah for Easter Jeep Safari. Feast your eyes on the newest design. The custom design started with a frame (as usual). It is a play off of the willys jeep truck. The front grill is an authentic from a “willys jeep here at the shop”. And, the “Chris Durham Motorsports vintage blue” paint job was carefully painted in multiple layers to give that right out of the carolina mountains look. This jeep has many advantages over other designs. As always low-centered, full cage, and very safe. And it will go where many cannot.

The threads occasionally have skeptics (and I track them carefully), so this year we have a bit of a surprise for y-all. So… please stay tuned and check back in the next couple weeks to see what I am talking about. We have something to show you, because talk would only be cheap.
